Study in Canada

Study Permit/Student Visa for Canada
Canada is home to some of the best study programs in the world, with 21 of the top 500 universities and 32 of the top 1,000 worldwide. Prominent academic institutions and research facilities are among the other benefits of studying in Canada. An Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) document known as a Canadian Study Permit enables foreign students to enroll in courses at any approved Canadian educational institution.

How to Apply for a Study Permit

A prospective student must be eligible to apply for a study visa in Canada if they meet the following requirements:

  • An applicant could also be required to submit the following supporting documents in addition to the documents listed above.
  • Passports for each family member listed on the application as well as the primary applicant.
  • Each family member and the primary applicant are shown in two passport-size pictures on the application, with the applicant's full name and birthdate inscribed on the back.
  • An applicant must provide a photocopy of their marriage license, if appropriate.
  • Any additional documents that a particular visa officer requests must be submitted by the candidate.
